    Hi,

    I already think this service is extremely convenient, user-friendly, and super-fast. But, will there will 320kbps mp3 support available in the future? Just a recommendation...

  2. 480p & 1080p A / V streams

    Hi:

    Thanks for the great youtube add-on !

    I was wonder if the add-on can provide options to d/l MP4 (480p & 1080p)
    A / V streams and give instructions on how to merge them using FFmpeg ?

  3. support for downloading in 1440p

    I noticed a new(don't know how new) 1440p resolution. this is one of those videos http://youtu.be/_T68ILyyWao
    I personaly will never need to download at such a high resolution, but it would be nice if you supported downloading it :)

  6. Fetch channel name and published date in file name

    Hello,
    I have a feature request for future versions. I don't know how hard this would be, but would it be possible to grab the channel name & video date in the filename automatically?

    Example:

    Channel name: abc123
    Video Name: Alphebet Soup
    Date published: January 1st, 2019

    File name:
    "abc123 - January 1st, 2019 - Alphebet Soup.mp4"

  9. Also get 480p

    For a video that is not available in HD, 480p should be the next option. 360p is too low in quality. one of your competitors have that option for videos that are not in HD. Thank you.

  12. just save 720p media in separate files, when that's how it is delivered

    to me, it's fine to download 720p media without multiplexed video and audio, given that is how it works now. just save the separate parts anyway. i can do post-processing myself when i need it

  17. develop the vip membership idea

    I can fully appreciate that the pre-download back-end stream rendering required for 1080 HD is extremely time-and-resource intensive (I have some limited experience with hd audio/video stream encoding myself so I know what this involves).

    The latest captcha and vip account options are good, and will certainly discourage automated mass-downloading. I would favor this over ad-marketing which I understand has been removed from the latest versions, however this must have impacted on your funding to maintain the quality back-end servers that are required for both stream-rendering and high-capacity bandwidth provision.

    I would support the idea of presenting an option for…

    Steve, first of all thanks a lot for understanding the issue and sharing it with everybody. It is getting harder to continue keeping this service alive with ever increasing traffic and almost non-existent donation support. I was thinking about working on a premium membership system solution and will update this thread when something comes up.

    BTW, I would like users to vote this up who are willing to enroll into this and also get their recommendation about what could be a feasible monthly membership cost for such service.

  18. No more Sound ads!!!!!

    Why on earth does this allow ads that play sound?

    I'm listening to a song and download it to only find an annoying loud Advertisement.

    C'mon, I can deal with some ads but not sound ads when listening to music/watching a video.

  20. re update Apr 4, 2015, now the .3gp download choice is missing.

    please add a list where we can choose the prior versions and/or a way to re-install the previous version.

    i have to download smallest YT file size available, due to speed and size restraints on my downloading.

    i'm downloading on a windows laptop, but still need to use the .3gp file extension.

    thank you, for your very excellent FF plugin.
