if you could make it so that when we're playing a long serie of videos , like for listenning music , we have an option that make it so youtube don't stop playing video.

BUG in live streams
This is the message i get when i open a live stream on YouTube, only on live streams and not on other none live streams, and it started when you released todays update.
Message: MAYDAY!!! There seems to be no links in the download list, this could be due to a stale browser cache, try logging in/out of Youtube and refresh the page to see if links appear. keep it simple
I have a couple of hours in this earlier this year..... no success.
your page is not simple to me as is for you. I am not a computer whiz or a hack. your page with the 3 big buttons and steps to do it ,,,,,,, duh which one???
and when I went to help and read the stuff about video download
I found I wasn't alone.
now I find myself thinking ,,,, is this stuff really worth it.1 votePls. be specific what was not EASY for you, I have done my best and would love to make it even simpler if you can give me an idea how that can be achieved.

fix the program because it downloads the same clip over and over again
The download button keeps downloading the same video (with the same file name) that i have already saved for all the other videos. I realized that I have saved the same video 5 times after opening them. This is also true for the 720p and 1080p ones. I love your program, and i hope that you can fix it soon.

This downloader is great, but I've recently encountered a bug.
There are sometimes multiple download buttons on a youtube video, and the number increases for each video I watch. I have to uninstall and reinstall the extension to get it back to normal, but it will start increasing again eventually.

on linux debian 8 firefox, had to refresh before clicking the download button, if not...the previous video will be downloaded
refesh the page always before clicking download button...happens when a new video is clicked. if not refreshed the previous video will be downloaded...

Firefox add-on Why am I unable to DOWNLOAD anything?
I am unable to download, not only 1080p, but everything. I click the DOWNLOAD button, file immediately downloads 0kbs, nothing more. No error message. Seeing as I contributed a sizeable donation to the developer, as he requested. I am rather pissed off. Please tell me that this not a burn and the issue is fixed or being fixed.
1 voteYoutube changes codes from time to time and it takes few days to break the new cipher. This has been fixed now and updated version 10.6 is now live. Next time pls. open a support ticket and not post this on ideas page.

Certain videos can't be downloaded (Example within)
Certain videos like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmQ6t8evUCU Can't be downloaded as far as I can tell. Is this a known issue?
1 voteThat video is restricted in many countries and our server location is one of them. You could search for same video from another uploader and it should download fine.

Youtube changed the default player 2017-08-28, Material Layout is now the default and no longer BETA
Visit Youtube in Private Browsing and you get the big red warning that the extension is not compatible with Youtube's BETA player. Obviously it's no longer BETA. That message box suggests the plugin would be updated when it left beta, so I guess now is the time.

Your red warning notice on youtube won't go away...
Pretty annoying. The red warning message you have recently created about switching to youtube classic simply cannot be removed. You should have a removal button for it.

what is so hard about asking for the destination?
I used to use this a lot more, and now it's my last-resort video downloader. Why? Because it keeps dumping my downloads in the "downloads" folder! It never used to do this! What is so hard about asking me where I want the download to go? (Especially if it's a long video and I don't have room for it on my hard drive)
And for the record, I've got Firefox set to "always ask" where to put downloads.
1 voteThe issue started after youtube changed the way downloads are delivered, this has already been fixed and an update should be submitted to mozilla for approval in next 2-3 days.
